My little guy is 7 mo I gave him oatmeal and banana baby food for a snack tonight at about 7:30 pm

How does he like baby food? My baby will be 4 months on the 25th and I'm thinking of starting him on stage one a couple times per day since he's starting to show interest in what I'm eating. I'm gonna ask his dr first but I'd like to know your experience!

@emkasting, it's all new to him. for 4 and 1/2 months all he's had is breast milk. so everything is a new taste. also eating food is a lot different then drinking milk. his pcp told me that just because he's spitting it out doesn't mean he doesn't like it. he has to learn to keep it in his mouth and swallow the technique of eating is different then drinking. it takes time. lol. but my son is always more then happy to have another bite. he'll always open his mouth when I bring the spoon close. lol.
