It doesn't matter if you leak or not, it has nothing to do with your supply that'll come in a day or two after your placenta has been removed ounce you have baby

okay cause someone i knew pumped and stuff was coming out (not milk of course) but i did it and my MIL and SIL are saying it's not normal to not leak and stuff should be coming out@bentleysmomma

some women dont get their milk supply until the baby is born. i had my daughter at 37 weeks with no milk and after she was born i tried pumping but nothing came out the nurse said to keep letting her cluster eat that the colostrum is still feeding her then after four days of that literally today my daughter is four days old and my boobs have gotten bigger harder and full of milk which was suprising because with my son i started leaking at 34 weeks so i guess your bodies waiting sweetie.dont be nervous your baby can feel it.

Pumping before you have the baby can cause you to go into labor. You don't really get your milk supply until about a week after you have your baby. For the first few days all you'll produce is colostrum which is very good for the baby but you won't produce a lot of it. Just because your pumping now while pregnant and not getting anything doesn't determine if your milk supply will be good when you have your baby. Just be careful when you pump now because again it can cause you to go into labor.

Like @babynessa said you should not be pumping at all unless advised by your OB!! It can cause early labor. It's really dangerous.

Milk doesn't come in until a couple days after delivery. It's completely normal and fine if you're not leaking, but like previous moms have said, you shouldn't be pumping unless you dr told you you could try nipple stimulation to induce labor

The hormone that makes your milk come in typically doesn't get released until the placenta is detached from the uterus.. It's normal for your milk to take a few days to come in after you have the baby
