OVARIAN CYST

So I've been having a pain since Thursday ,though I've had this pain years before...it was tolerable and I'd take Tylenol to relieve it...but yesterday I was in sooo much pain! I had it for 8 hours straight Tylenol didn't help plus I threw up 7 times..went to the ER and long story short the finally found what it was..a large 8.5 cyst that's the size of a grape fruit! The cyst can cause the ovary to twist and that'll stop blood flow ..if that happens id need my ovary removed..so today I'm going to see my obgyn to see what's going to happen and when I'd get it removed..my question is have any of you got this procedure done? How did it go?
