aw man..the real thing will come though. that happened to me too and then when I actually did go into labor , I almost thought I wasn't the real thing deal until I couldn't do anything! I could barely stand up.

@atw2016, Yeah it'll happen when it happens, but I feel the same thing is going to happen to me. All these false alarm episodes are gonna make me stubborn & be like "nope, it's not labor.. it's a false alarm" 😂

@rebalouise lol that's how me and my husband was when it actually happened! because we went the morning before and they sent us home. so when it finally hit me that I was actually in labor , i woke him up and he was so sure they were gonna send me home when we got there. we actually went back and forth about it because I was telling him I needed to go for real this time lol. we got there and I was dilated from a 1 to a 9. if we would have stayed, we would have had our baby at home 😂😂

if it hurts so bad that sitting, walking , standing or anything doesn't make them stop then go! lol. I even tried a bath , which definitely didn't work.

@atw2016, Oh wow! That's crazy! Good thing you listened to your instincts! My rule of thumb is contractions every 5 mins apart, lasting 1 min, and hurt so bad I can't walk/breathe through them. That's how it started with my first baby. That's why I didn't go last night because they weren't that bad yet!

@atw2016, that's what made me stay home because I took a bath & it eased them up, so I knew it wasn't real

@rebalouise I know right! we got there and I said "told you. " lol. and that's what I was told too but mine were hurting so bad that I didn't time them, I just knew they were close. with my first , my water broke then I had contractions later on so I was expecting the same thing I guess but this time my water didn't break. it's funny how it all works though! those false labor pains are something else! lol

@atw2016, Yeah with my first I was in "early labor" for a whole day having contractions every 6 mins apart so they sent me home & said not to come back until they were 5 mins apart or more painful. They kept getting worse & worse, but only 6 mins apart still. Finally I said screw it & went in! Good thing I did because I actually was in labor!

@rebalouise see! I hate when they do that! what's one minute? I would have been annoyed. but mama knows when her baby is actually coming!! lol

@atw2016, I know, it was so obnoxious!! I pretty much just labored at home for over 12 hours, I was miserable!
