so Saturday my daughter got for a fever of 102. Gave her some Tylenol and it went down. Then back up that night. And same with Sunday just kept going up and down. Then Sunday night she acted like she was in pain. her belly was hard, she wouldn't lay down let mr hold her. Wouldn't take a bottle pacifier or anything. So I took her to the er. and they literally tokd me nothing! gave her Tylenol. that's it. She had a fever this morning. Then we went to the store for some medicine and Pedialyte. I gave her Motrin at 1240 And we took a nap. when we woke up she was fine. now bed time and she is screaming like she is in pain just like last night...idk what to do..
@lauren5786, she got the shots on her birthday (9/1/16)
@alianagirl I thought Maybe teething but she's never acted this way for other teeth. I hope that is all it is. I've been doing Tylenol and Motrin when needed. but I think she is also sick. she has a really nasty cough.
any change will cause these adjustments. remember at night is when they grow... same for teeth this is when teeth come out.you have to be patient...have Tylenol and motrin handy I like to trade on and of with each. also the teething tablets work. I'm starting to give her cereal at night so she can get full and sleep heavier... cause I notice she wakes up hungry apart from all the pain.
mine is doing the same thing...she is 1, and for 3 weeks had been the same , with high fever and crying like crazy at night
Oh jeez /: long day , I understand completely. I wonder why it's only at night time ? How long ago did she get her shots ? @ciaramarie
@lauren5786, I was there from 830pm-230am. I missed today from work and I can't afford to miss any more days. She's fine during the day it's mainly just night time. and I tried putting her in the bath and she freaked out..daddy is taking a turn right now. I just dont know what to do. She's been sick since I got her 1 year shots and switched her to whole milk. I had to take her off the whole milk because she was having excessive diarrhea
if the cough is bad then take her in again just to make sure it's nothing more serious...
