baby wipes

What age was your baby when you started using baby wipes when you changed their bum? I'm using cotton wool and warm water but just wondering for when we go out for the day what I'm going to do.. It's my fiances birthday in a few weeks and his dad is guna take us to monkey world.. do I just continue with cotton wool and just take a bottle of water to use or wipes :s ftm and a bit confused! So, my water just broke during sex, I'm scheduled for csection in like 4 hrs, should I wait, or go to the hospital now? My husband insists we just wait.
