It depends is she being breast fed or bottle

How much are you feeding her? And is it formula or breast milk?

My daughter is the same way! No matter how much I burp her or hold her up right before laying her down she spits up everywhere and it comes out her nose too. I'm breast feeding and she's 2 weeks old tomorrow. I have to ask her pediatrician at her appointment Wednesday

@marissarose94, @babyross I'm breastfeeding her. It's hard to tell how much she gets. So I just give her the breast whenever she seems like she's hunger even if it's frequent

@babyelkins2016, yeah I just called the Pediatrician as well. Like I said she said it's common and not to worry about it unless she seems irritable or isn't gaining weight

My son had really bad reflux to the point that he turns blue from not breathing! And he's 3 wks old. Little things that helps before bed give baby a bottle either breast milk or formula whatever you use with a teaspoon of cereal in it. Keep the baby at a 40-45 degree angle like get a wedge or a book to put under the babies crib bassinet whatever baby sleeps is. Also the pediatrician gave me a reflux medicine that has been an amazing with helping I mean it doesn't take it away but it helps tremendously. Good luck and I hope you can get your baby to a point where she is comfortable with no issues!

@ashcos, what does the cereal do. I thought infants couldn't have adult food this young

Baby cereal like the rice cereal helps coat their stomach and helps with the acid. So not adult food baby rice cereal! It's ok for newborns it just can't be anymore than a teaspoon

The only way to do it would be to pump and bottle feed her once before bedtime. How old is she?! If she's 3-4 months you can spoon feed it to her mix one teaspoon of it with breast milk until it is almost a watery consistency but still enough to put on a spoon or make it on a bowl and make it very watery put it in a medicine syringe and feed it to her that way. Those are the suggestions my pediatrician gave to me
