No never too early! My mom would worry a lot to and I'm like it's good for them! She eventually understood. My son was already holding his head up straight out of the hospital but it did help!! Now people aren't surprised he walked at 9 months lol! But in general the sooner the better, it's great for their back and neck muscles!
