While it could be twins the gestational sac without the yolk sac could be a blighted ovum or embryo that failed to form. That doesn't necessarily mean it's twins. While it could be twins the gestational sac without the yolk sac could be a blighted ovum or embryo that failed to form. You're OB or Ultrasound Tech would have told you if it was twins.
