To each his own... but I wouldn't risk the castor oil. There's other safer things you can do like walking, squats and sex.
I took castor oil with my daughter at 41 weeks and because I had no progress already it did nothing for me. It's not a magical labor inducer
A natural oil that comes in pill form that can be used orally and as a vaginal suppository to soften your cervix
It depends on who you talk to. I mean people who drink castor oil are usually the people open to all natural things. There's side effects to everything you take. Evening Primrose Oil to soften your cervix can actually do the opposite and keep you pregnant longer and will induce seizures in people with seizure disorders. People think that castor oil causes the baby to poop in utero, but studies show that poop is usually present in past due babies period. Castor Oil is a laxative, it's the diarrhea that makes your uterus contract, but if your not already making progress the most it's going to do is make you poop...a lot. Newer studies show that castor oil doesn't cross the placenta either. @nicipicky @allyk.xmommy
ive heard something about labor cookies. ...but don't know where to get them. and also heard something about primrose oil? I know u tried sex, that's what did it for me....try these two things and stay active. maybe a birth/exercise ball? ?
I've tried everything besides castor oil, honestly nothing is going to work unless your baby is ready! I'm 40 weeks & 4 days and still no baby..😐
