Words could not even begin to prepare me for what I experienced yesterday. Throughout my pregnancy, everything has been great, no health problems with me OR the baby. Then all of a sudden I went to the Dr on Friday and found out my BP was dangerously high and was checked into the hospital ASAP with a scheduled induction at 35 weeks 4 days. (2 days in labor later), he's finally out and when he comes out he's dead silent. They rushed my baby to the side to work on him , surrounded by a bunch of nurses trying to resuscitate him and I'm just laying to the side being stitched up frantically asking about my silent baby. Blessed to say they were able to get him breathing and he is in the nicu but doing well 💙 . I haven't been able to hold/spend much time with him after being super drugged off magnesium leaving me super loopy and unable to hardly hold my eyelids open. I'm extremely thankful he is here and thriving. And know he will continue to, 💙 I just cannot believe he's here, and how everything happened. Scariest thing I've ever experienced, almost losing a child.. My heart really goes out to all my nicu and premie mamas. And all my mamas who have /almost have experienced the loss of a child. I still can't shake the feeling I had of almost losing him and I'm just extremely grateful this morning.
