Ya plus you are suppose to use a cold air humidifier not sure if that gives out warmer air cuz that could cause bacteria in your baby's lungs. Warm air humidifiers aren't sold anymore for that reason

@edomke, @corinasolorio there are humidifers still sold that have a little warmer for Vicks vaporub saw them at babies r us. the only danger they have that I've looked up is that Vicks can explode if heated to extreme temps. electric scencies do not get that hot. my doctor has also said its safer than putting Vicks on babies. it's the same as breathing in the Vicks by itself the warmer just helps get the smell throughout the room but to each their own

@edomke, @corinasolorio thank you guys for the information though I called my sons soctor this morning to make sure and looked up many forums and based off of the information the only danger is getting burned by the liquid
