Anyone receive a blood transfusion before deleiverinf due to low iron ?

My iron was low but I didn't have to get one beforehand but I did however have to get one after my first c section cause I lost too much blood

Oh my iron is low to but my midwife hasn't metion it but I will ask cuz I ain't know it could be a possiblty

I did. My daughter has a bit of anemia as well when she was born . They also kept me a day or two longer

I had to get IV iron infusions a few weeks before I delivered. It was called Venofer. You should ask your Dr about it.
