Go to an LC find one anywhere you can! WIC has LCs they teach you how to breastfeed! They can tell you if baby is latching properly poor latch causes pain! I know mine has a lip tie and for three months he has poor latch we tried so hard! Went to soo many LC visits I had cracked bleeding nipples clogged ducts just from latch problems! But eventually we got it! For some of us it's a learning process it takes a while it's hard but be patient and stick to it! You got it! And don't supplement! You will loose your milk! I learned the hard way

Yeah nipple cream helps a lot. But other than that and a shield, it's just a matter of roughing it out :/

Honestly the first two weeks hurt for me your nipples have to adjust. You can also try a nipple shield, nipple cream helps also.
