Need some advice, I'm 39 w 5 days, 5 cm dilated and 80% effaced. I've been having contractions for the past few days and today I'm having bad stomach pains. I don't know if these are labor contractions?

I was in a couple day ago my contractions were 1 min apart but not that painful just a lot of stomach tightness. But today it's just stomach pains and back pains @godsjoi

Could be back labor. I know the feeling of not wanting to get sent home, but at some hospitals, I think they'll keep you at 5cm. Maybe do some walking or squatting or try and get some rest.
