Well my periods were a lot different after pregnancy so maybe that'll be the case! But my mom (10) started early and both my sister (17) and I (13) started later. So it all depends on your girl.

I'm dreading my periods I've always gotten them so bad I'm bedridden ! I started my period when I was 9! So I'm hoping my daughter doesn't start them that early but once i start I'll definitely restock in my mothers milk tea and oatmeal

I just wouldn't produce enough. Idk if it was because my experience with post pregnancy periods were terrible- really heavy, very painful- or not. I also have an autoimmune disease so maybe it all affected it. But I just drank mothers milk and ate oatmeal the whole period week so that when it was over I had a good supply back. @mrscruz0530

Yes I did. My daughter was born in December 10 2014 and by 7mos pp I started getting periods. December or January I got pregnant. I know my last period was December 8 of 2015. She was also weaning herself off by 11 months and I had some trouble with supply and she would stay with her dad sometimes so she was supplemented, so i wasn't EBF. Many factors with the theory of not getting pregnant if breastfeeding. But yeah at least by 7 mos I had a steady period and it always effected my supply!!! It made me so mad but I was irregular before being pregnant and afterwards they were always on time. So that was cool to me. Haha. @mrscruz0530

But Popsicles or even milk for cereal would be A great way to still get her bm since it's just so much better

Oh well that's awesome that she was over a year! So now my question is ... You got pregnant while bf? Obviously lol (not in a bad way) but when did you get your period? Did you plan to get pregnant ? Sorry I'm just so curious since I haven't had a period yet I was wondering how bf moms get pregnant lol

@mrscruz0530, no, my daughter weaned herself off when I was 3mos pregnant and she was over a year old. So I'm happy with how long she breastfed for. I was thinking of pumping some for her but my BF thinks it's weird? I don't see why though. I'm probably going to do it anyway. Like make popsicles or something.

That's awesome! That's what I'm going to do to my daughter won't take a bottle so I think we'll bf for a while. Are you breastfeeding both of your kids?

I'm aiming for at least a year. But I let my babies decide when they get off the boob. Hopefully my supply stays where's it's at. @mrscruz0530

Girl I don't blame you that would be the only reason for me to get one but I haven't since I'm still bf too just save your designs mama it'll be soon 😀 well not in a bad way hopefully you can breastfeed for a very long time 😊

@mrscruz0530, yeah I waited it out with my first breastfed baby. I can do it this time too. I'm just so excited to get a tattoo for my babies. Haha

It's not recommended and some places won't do it if they know your breastfeeding but there are plenty of moms who have done it so it's kind of your call mama and what your comfortable with but if you can wait it out to be safe that's always good 😀
