Okay ladies so I have a question. So we already picked our daughters name and it's going to be Kailee! I absolutely love the name and spelling but people are already pronouncing it KAY-LEE vs. KY-LEE. So what do yall think how would you pronounce Kailee ?

I think the spelling is cute too but I also read it as kaylee at first glance
It's because the KAI together in English is pronounced that way so people are going to make a guess and not know that a Y sound should be there. People have pronounced my name wrong my entire life but you get used to it! 😂 People will get it wrong even if you spell it Kylee!
anybody who can read english well should know its pronounce kay-lee not ky-lee. the fact that there is an a in kailee makes it so there's no way that that 'i' could be a long i, like in kylee. and my middle name is leigh and ppl pronounce it lee-guh and dont even get me start on my first name they pronounce Darian as Darin.
I love that both your babies start with "Kai" I think that's cute and I really love the spelling. As for people anyone is going to mess up any name really- my name is Mallory (Mal•lory) and it gets messes up 🙄
It was hell for me growing up and even to this day. lol my name is Anikè pronounced Ah-nee-keh (it's Nigerian, lol yes I'm I'm Nigerian). A lot of ppl literally pronounce it A-Nike... why the hell would my mama name me that

Exactly I agree to me you can clearly tell that it's Malachi and Machi ( I love their names btw) my kids aren't twins but I just love how the two sound together Kaiden & Kailee❤️ haha same with my name even tho it is a different name but to me it's pronounced Just like it's spelled. To me it's obviously Kai lee. But that's because my sons name is Kai'reece so I know that it's kai and not Kay lol

They call them Machi (Meh-Che) & Malachi (Meh-La-Che)! 😒 Like who would name their kids that nonsense! 😂 & at school eventually the class with correct the people for her. People mess up my name like it's difficult or unique. It's just Adrianna. Basic spelling & all. 🙄
