My LO has been tightening up, crying when she has a bowel movement. I called her doctor yesterday and they changed her formula to nutramigen. Her bowel movement has changed and is a little bit hard. Is there anything else I can do???....I'm still giving her gas drops with every bottle and dark Karo syrup.

try tummy rubs and laying on belly. give the formula time, it'll help.. my Dr said I could give my 9 weeker one ounce clear grape juice and one oz water, that helped a lot.

the tummy rub worked last night, she lays on me and it seems to work....I put Karo Syrup in her formula right now....it's just sad seeing her in pain

My Ped told me to give her a little tiny bit of prune juice in her bottle. It's helped! I breast feed though so idk if that makes a difference! I feel awful to see her in pain :(
