So, our doctor has told us that the crying peaks around 8 weeks, and boy was that true 😩 as soon as 8 weeks rolled around Isabelle was constantly temperamental! She's now 10 weeks and she's still at it! Has anyone else experienced this? When did baby seem to calm back down for you?
She's been a little terror lately. She'll wake up, cry for a diaper change and bottle (normal), and then when we burp her in the middle of her bottle, she freaks out, and after she's done eating she screams and cries for at least 5-10 minutes. Then she'll be okay, she'll have about 45 minutes of play time where she's happy and smiley and sociable. Then she'll just randomly FREAK OUT for about 20 minutes until she falls asleep, but only naps for about 30 minutes and it starts all over again. And every night from 7pm to bedtime (10 or 11) she just cries inconsolably regardless of what you do.
I miss my sweet, happy little girl. 😔

She also hasn't wanted to be put down! We had made so much progress with getting her to nap by herself but now she screams if you even act like you're going to set her down. Everyone keeps saying growth spurt but it's gone on way too long to be one, I think.

it might be a growth spurt. my son would go on and off like that, but for the most part he was a happy baby.. download the wonder weeks. it's an amazing app to help you know when you're baby is growing along and has some wonderful tips. I love it

well, he is a happy baby. I just meant that for when he was around that many weeks lol

It still could be one. I don't remember caleigha getting fussy at 8wks but I remember she wanted to be held a lot and sleep a lot but only in someone's arms or in our bed

@santistevanmommie she has colic, too, I'm pretty sure, so I'm sure that's played a huge part in it 😣

Yeah I'll bet it does especially because she gets fussy around certain times.
