I went to the hospital about a week ago the doctor told me I was dilated 2.5 still the same since 2 days ago I went for severe pain/pressure ...since baby was still high and hasn't gone down they sent me home and I was having strong close contractions very uncomfortable. ..they told me to take tylonel relax alot take lots of baths ...everytime I get contractions r pain I get stiff so it doesn't help dilate or get my muscles loose ...still waiting on my babies arrival

I woke up on my due date and knew my contractions were real. Being my first time I went in a around noon.. got sent home and ended up going back to L&D around midnight that same day. I was only 3cm! They had me walk for an hour and by that time I got my epidural and had my girl early that morning!

@madison0816, thank you I'm having contractions every 2 minutes but I can barely feel them and they told me my muscles were very soft the on thing is baby is still a little high so I might go for a walk later and maybe that will help

happened to me they sent me home when I was having awful contractions every 2-3 minutes lasting about a minute and they told me because I didn't dilate more within an hour of being at the hospital there was nothing they could do and told me to try taking a hot bath for like 15 minutes at a time to loosen my muscles and maybe it would help me dilate which it did and then my water broke a couple hours later
