So my son is getting bullied so he hit the kid back . Now he is the one in trouble . I am not saying i am ok with hitting .I feel like hunting that kid down and giving him a piece of my mind but that wont help . He need to learn to fight his own battles. Man this is hard ... Now to take some action ... What have you done in this situation ?

I'd give your son a high five for sticking up for himself, that's what he should've done. just my opinion lol. but I'd also definitely go have a chat with the school for singling him out.
@anerruny12, he is the youngest in his 1st grade class . That doesn't help.

I would set up a meeting with the principal and the kids and the parents and see wats going on
I never got in trouble if they hit me first because it was self defense
I agree with @coltroyalsmama1224 . as he gets older if anything were to happen, he needs to know he's not gonna get in trouble at home if he defends himself. teach him the difference with defending himself & just hitting to hit. have a talk with him
