I'm forsure doing it. I missed my babies frst two weeks bc of that fucking epidural . I'm so against it now

It was fine for me I got it when I got the surgery and my back had been messed up ever since I could barely walk after it wore off so when it was time to give birth I said hell no I didn't want it

what I did is I still got the epidural hooked up and I only used it when I really needed it. which wasn't a lot surprisingly. I barley used it when I opened up to an 8 and I didn't realize it because I had a nurse that didn't know how to measure correctly so I went about 2 hours being at an 8 not using the epidural.

in bed sick as hell couldn't lift my head up with out feeling like I was going to die. in and out of the hospital. long story short I jumped when the doctor was putting in my epidural and he put it in the wrong place. It made my spine leak fluid which gave me the wrst headaches of my live. every time I sat up or moved my head it would kill. my brain wasn't in the right place pretty much. I had to get two diff look patches bc they fucked the frst one up. so all together 3 long needles in me and now I have horrible back problems. look up spinal fluid headaches and blood patches. U will never want one again. it was the wrse pain I ever been in even wrse then giving birth.

I wanted to go without it too at first I was fine the nurses thought I was strange talking through all the contractions but as soon as she dropped more I was in so much pain with her on my nerves they looked at me and knew something was up and asked me. I took it. don't really regret it but my next baby I'm going to see how much further I can go with out

I couldn't even hold my baby. I was on so many pain killers just to sleep. I couldn't eat or anythng.

it was horrible. I can't even explain it just somthng u would have to experience to understand .but I don't wish that pain on anyone! it was completely horrible.

I didn't have any pain medicine because I went from a 5 to 10 in a half hour!😳 and the nurse told me I have to wait until I'm 5cm to get any type of pain killers.

I don't plan on having another baby, but if I do, I won't be getting an epidural or giving birth in a hospital. The epidural was a nightmare while giving birth and it continued on for a month after.

Yes, I didn't get anything. But it only took 3 hours I went in at 7am was only dilated at 2cm at 10am I was at 10cm and at 10:18 he was born!

No it wasn't lol I'm glad it went fast but holy shit did it hurt and I was begging for meds lol but afterwards it was great because I was able to get up and walk around right away and I didn't have any problems

Yeah so bad thing it hurt but good thing was I didn't have any problems I was able to eat and drink and walk around right awwy
