So beautiful! I live on a farm, right now we have corn, cane, alfalfa, and just drilled wheat in our irrigated circles. However your view is prettier than mine right now!

We cleared the field in late August. We're gearing up for a fall festival now @boymomplusagirl I think I could never live anywhere else!!! ❤

@tayek we have 17 irrigated circles, and a small feed lot. We just chopped cane silage and drilled in wheat. We will be doing our 3rd cutting of alfalfa in about 2 weeks, and starting our corn silage and corn harvest soon too.

@tayek our kiddos are blessed to be able to grow up in these lifestyles. How many kids get to go ride in tractors every day and ride horses and work cattle. They get to learn the meaning of hard work at a young age. I couldn't move back to town and be happy.

@boymomplusagirl, YES. I like the city life, don't get me wrong...convenience is groovy. But I don't think I could be happy there either because like you said, THIS is life prep. They'll have such excellent, diverse skill sets. Tractors and horses, cattle and crops!!! And they get their technology also. Best of all worlds. ❤

@tayek Definitely! Don't get me wrong, I like being able to have convenience too, but I love that where I live the closest Walmart is about an hour drive away. I love that most people use small businesses, and locally grown.

We started teaching my 4year old son how to rope a couple weeks ago, and now he carries his rope around everywhere "lassoing" as he calls it.

@lalamichelle0707, we have a total of 93 acres. It takes almost 8 weeks to get the soil turned, another 2 or 3 weeks to seed everything, and then the fun starts, because nothing grows at the same rate 😂😂😂

Oh goodness!! That looks fun! I will never complain about mowing my one acre anymore! 😂 I have always wanted to live on a farm! @tayek you should definitely post more pics of the farm it's idyllic and I love horses!!
