Labor Story:

Tuesday morning woke up at 9am with mild cramping.. made breakfast, got my son ready for school & decided to do some last minute shopping for baby girl. at around 2pm the pains began to pick up a bit. norhing major but it made me head home right away. through out the day I danced with my son, did some squats & practiced my laboring positions.. I have to say it helped. someone how managed to make dinner and clean the house up a bit. fast forward to 11pm. both my son and bf are sound asleep. I took one of my many hot showers to relieve some pain. at this point contractions are every 6min. I began repacking our hospitsl bags. making sure we had everything we needed. for the next 4 hours I breathed and danced through every single contraction until I could no longer take it. called my mom so she could spend the night with my son. then told my bf is was time to get checked out. by 330 were in the hospital, contractions unbearable! get checked out & I'm at a 9! I couldn't believe it we were having a baby soon. I labored a couple hours more but wasn't progressing. pains were getting stronger and faster. my nerves were all over the place and I knew I wouldn't make. so I opted for the epidural. best thing I could've done for baby girl and me. I was calm and ready to begin to push. 10 minutes she was finally here. go skin to skin and she latched on right away.. she's perfect and her brother fell in love with her!♡
