I let water run over it to clean it. 6 weeks and I was back in the pool.

I didn't get to do any of that until I was almost 3 months pp.

But, if all would have went well you should be good to go by your 6 week check up.

My doctor told me to wet it from the beginning.

i was able to take a shower in the hospital. when i got home, a bath.

I was able to get mine wet the next day

Following. What's the healing process like?

The first couple days were rough. I was able to handle the pain but at times it got a little overwhelming, don't be afraid to ask for pain meds. It'll be tough to get up, sit up, shower, get dressed and all that stuff alone the first few days, it was difficult to hold her to feed her and burp her but I had a lot of help so it was alright.. Second day I was out of the hospital, By the 4th day I actually left my house to go eat, still in a bit of pain though, my back was really hurting a lot from the epidural I'm guessing? It's the 8th day since, and I'm able to do everything on my own, I'm going on little tiny walks, some say I'm doing too much to quick, I agree, I think pain meds have been helping a lot, but, I've been so anxious to get up and do stuff with my baby. Over all, the healing process wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. :) @godsjoi

@alainasmommy916, thank you! I've heard that I NEED TO WALK lol. I'm getting more and more anxious as Monday approaches. I delivered my first vaginally so I've never experienced a c section before 😕they only had you in the hospital for two days? Wow! I don't think I'll wanna leave lol! Do they send you home with pain meds? What kind? I hate medicine lol
