So, my boyfriend is a twin. My best friend is dating his twin brother, meaning we have the same in-laws and same SO's family. They got pregnant about 2 months before we did, and she's almost a year younger than I am. She posted a status just kind of saying that she felt lost because she had all these plans to travel before, but she ended up getting pregnant and she doesn't know what to do bc she still wants to do those things but she can't now for a while. I agreed, bc I feel the same way. We had lots of plans before getting pregnant.

Anyway, our MIL and her family commented being SUUUPER judgemental, calling her selfish and saying she shouldn't be a mother, saying she shouldn't be worrying about herself anymore, etc. And it really pisses me off. They're acting like they've never wanted to do something, but couldn't bc they had children. 😠 WTF. If still having dreams after having a baby makes me selfish then so be it. Are we not allowed to still want to go through with those plans with baby in tote? How is wanting more for yourself than just playing mommy in any way selfish?? UGH.
