The morning of November 3rd, I woke up, took a pregnancy test and placed it on the bathroom counter, threw dinner in the crockpot and went back to bed. I don't even know what drew me to take a test that day. Just the day before, we had seen a new doctor who told us she wouldn't help us get pregnant, and I was feeling pretty bad about it. Well later that morning, I woke up and went on as usual. I decided to call the fertility clinic a few towns over and set myself up with an appointment. I had gotten so fed up with TTC and so tired of negative after negative, I wanted to know for sure if I was ever going to be able to concieve. So I called, completed the entire process to get an appointment booked, and I felt really good about it! I sat there for a minute, and then I remembered I had taken that test! Mind you this was HOURS after I had taken it. So I walked to the bathroom thinking I'd see another negative. But I didn't. I saw 2 lines and screamed. I immediately took the last test I had and watched the 2nd line turn up again. I screamed again. I was so relieved and happy and terrified and excited! I hadn't had a period so I had no clue how far along I was. I couldn't believe it! When I was diagnosed with PCOS, I was told I'd probably never get pregnant. And I had multiple doctors tell me that. So I was in shock. I waited until my husband got home and let him find the tests, he was so happy he started to tear up. We told our parents that night, and a few weeks later I found out how far along I was! Now we have our sweet miracle boy and are hoping for another someday! 💙
