im so pissed off! i had my first appointment with the midwife last friday morning but she ended up coming thursday morning whilst i was sleeping because the midwife who booked the appointment got the dates messed up so she told me not to worry ill call on sunday, so i rang up on sunday as my partner got called into work and we wanted to rearrange for the following saturday, but she said luckily that youve rang because it werent me who was gunna come today it was someone else and shes got the day off and she wants to come tomorrow(monday just gone) between 8-2 and i said i need it later because my partner be in work so she told me she'd get the lady to ring tomorrow to sort out, so all day monday i was waiting for a phonecall didnt receive nothing so i decided to ring up at 6 monday afternoon only to be told ive been booked in for wednesday 9 oclock!! but i didnt have a phonecall to let me know so if i didn't ring up i wouldn't known a thing!! absolute shambles its now 10 oclock and still no sign of the midwife or a phonecall to say shes going to be late, safe to say i am one very pissed off hormonal pregnant person!!!! if the midwife still isnt here by 11 im ringing up the ward!!

its absolute shambles it wasnt like this last year when i had my daughter its shocking, im gunna ring them now im so pissed off !! xx @alexmcatamney

You have home appointments?? lucky you! I had to travel to all of mine :) Awe hun! Please complain and request a new midwife! You can do that xx

i rang them up ans the woman was like we never give a time, but the woman who i spoke to monday afternoon told me 9 wednesday morning lmao i wouldnt be ringing up otherwise would i, felt like going crazy at her, im still waiting for them to come and if theyre not here by the time my partner comes home from work at 5 im going to be going outt so its not my fault! they always do the first appointment at home hun @winterbaby95 then its in the doctors for the rest up until your third trimester they come to your homd xx

@jordllew My first appointment was at 9 weeks...I had to travel to my midwife :) So its not always at home hun...and my midwife didnt come and see me at home until I had given birth to my daughter xx
