When does the OB starts checking if you have dilated at all ?

Like 37 weeks

@cutie22, That's strange, I'm 37 weeks and 4 days and had an appointment yesterday and they didn't check. I have a c section scheduled for the 28th, maybe that's why? I just keep getting strong contractions and lost some of my mucus plug tonight so I was wondering. The fetal development people checked more than a month ago and I was only 1cm dilated, I'm wondering if anything has changed.

@cubanese, ah ok. Mines probably won't then. It's just the braxton hicks keep getting stronger

Yea I think if you have a c-section they kinda ignore it more than if u was having it vaginally

mine started checking at 30 weeks..

@heatherlg88, I guess since they scheduled me a c section they won't check. although I thought they should just in case I might go in to labor earlier

Mine starts at 35 weeks

I'm having c section she is still checking me just in case
