I am getting my Paragrad soon I am excited I don't want anymore kids I have two and that is enough. And they are 8 years apart a boy and girl. Has anyone had paragard put in does it hurt? I have not had sex since I pretty much got pregnant last July. I am getting a safe precaution in case a guy and decided to have sex with him. Condoms are not 100% affect accidents happen and I want to be careful of those accidents.

I have the Mirena IUD. It's a bit uncomfortable to get placed, but it is just like a quick cramp on each side when I got it placed. Not bad at all

Which one did you get? I only have one fallopian tube.@mybabyloves, Mine has copper and it is non hormonal.

@madilynn16 I didn't get the copper one, my insurance will only cover the Mirena hormonal one and now that I've had my daughter that's what they want me to get again

You can go to plan parenthood and pretend you don't have insurance and the green card. It covers the Cooper one my cousin told me. And it last for 12 years.@mybabyloves
