I'm just overdue. It won't happen until next week. But I haven't had contractions or anything. I'm only 1 cm dilated. She's not wanting to come out and my doctor doesn't want me getting to 42 weeks because she says the risk for infection is higher.

@cubanese, she just said there's a greater risk of infection for the baby once you hit 42 weeks. She's swept my membranes yesterday. My mucus plug came out with blood etc at first I had little contractions then they stopped.

maybe itlls happen before then, i was induced it isnt so bad.

@babyleon, really ? My ob says it makes labor harder when induced >.< so I guess I'm just nervous. I'm excited to meet her I just wish she was more will to come out lol

I was induced with my first two children. both labor were less than 10 hours long and I pushed probably 3-6 times. it was quick, yes it was a little painful but it was nice and easy.
