When is it safe to travel with a newborn? Thinking about driving to NC from VA

I would wait until at least a month personally. Just in case especially since your pediatrician is right there.

I wouldn't until after their 1st shots at 2 months. babies immune system is crap. best to not expose it to many ppl so soon.

Its fine i travled with my son to Ny when he was 1 month and he was fine and we were on a plane

I traveled from MD to FL when she was 7weeks--NEVER TF AGAIN! My baby hates the car so the drive down she screamed thru 3 states 😑
