I've been having this in my head for a while, is it possible to dilate without getting major…

I never felt anything really. period cramps here and there. everyones different though 😕

lol with my firstborn I knew when the contractions were real, I had none until 40 weeks and 4 days. I'm now 39 weeks pregnant with my second and at 37 weeks I was dilated at 1cm.. I didn't feel any contractions. But you could also mistaken them for gas pains too since they feel pretty identical to period cramps lol. it's hard to tell until they get more intense.

@kambam, with my son I had pains for 4 days before delivering at 39 weeks. I know what to look for but now I feel no pain just like an odd feeling down there lol

@coltroyalsmama1224, I don't feel any pain at all. idk if I'm dilated bc my doctor doesn't like to check til 40 weeks lol I know what real contractions feel like. I'm just curious if I could be dilating without feeling pain.

I had no pain and was dilating. . only thing I felt was really heavy the day before having baby.. then next day water broke and I guess I dilated more but had to pain.. contractions didn't come till like 5 hours later. and I get what your saying about the pooping part.. Baby might be low.. I had the same problem.. I would push and hope the baby didn't come in the toilet lol.

Yea my doctor didnt want to check me either till like 40 weeks. but I was in the hospital at 36 weeks so I knew I was dilating and I had my baby at 38 weeks.

I expected her to come around that time too bc I was having pain then.. and my son came at 39.. they say the second comes sooner but apparently not lol

Lol sometimes people are wrong lol have you tried things to induce? ?

I've been walking, dancing around the house and doing squats.. we've had sex but my bf always pulls out lol I'm like that's not the point. I'm feeling a little bit of cramping today. more than usual so I hope it's starting! @polancobaby

omg.. he's probably like I don't want to make another baby lol.

my husband and I barely had sex. but I was also work two jobs sometimes 3so I think that's what helped me out..

I think that's what helped out so much with my son. I worked until 38 weeks.. the very next day the contractions began, so much for taking a break. I was way more active then.. idk, I didn't think I'd be waiting this long lol my doctor isn't invasive. if by Thursday there's no progress I have my appointment and we'll see from there @polancobaby

yea my doctor was very like while if don't have her till 41 weeks we will induce. hopefully they set a plan with you by Thursday if there isn't progress
