LADIES! There is a new HPV vaccination! When I was 16 I was vaccinated with Guardasil (Not sure about the spelling) which prevented 3 out of the many other types of HPV strains. The new shot Guardasil 9 protects against 9 strains. I just found out today I am now HPV free after having it for a year. My body fought it off! HPV is very common and may not show symptoms (some strains cause genital worts) so it can be spread without knowing.

I had the gardasil shot when I was 12. Can I get the new one at 19 or 20?

I'd ask your doctor. Mine said it was okay for me, after my pregnancy.

Your body can heal it over time. Pregnancy hormones makes it worse @babymaverick I have it too

Yeah me too, I've noticed a lot of different things going on now and I had to have a colposcopy done at 10 weeks cause I have high risk Dna strain which lucky nothing was there but dr said it should go away by my 6 week pp check up!!
