Do you guys think a mamaroo is worth buying??

Yes. Best thing ever, especially for naps. My baby still uses it here and there and she's one.

We were planning on get our son one, but he grew so fast that it wasn't worth it for us.

what @showersoverflowers said just as well as walkers and so forth.

We couldn't justify it. Studies show its not good for babies to be confined to swings for long periods of time. Development aside, babies grow out of their swings so fast. Less expensive swings work just as well giving mama a break to shower or get dinner done :)
