I love that Delos is so great at entertaining himself. My father in law doesn't because he thinks you have to stand over them the entire time they play. They don't learn that way. I want my kids to learn independence. It's not like I can't see him when he plays. He plays with the same things every day. No yesterday he assumed a pair of underwear Delos was playing with was dirty as in has been worn and took it from him. Like what the hell. What a slap in my face. He basically called me a bad parent assuming I would let him!!! Then he gave him a small metal box instead of the underwear. How does that make sense? Anyway. I love Delos enjoying the old glucose meter and flattened ball and throwing ALL of our shoes EVWRYWHERE. My mother in law told me she has fun coming down every morning not knowing exactly where her shoes are gonna be. Lol He likes pulling things out of the recycling box and his toy box. He is learning how to hand things to people and of course we say thank you when we grab them. He's also learning how to walk more than crawl.
