My husband told me today after working 54.5 hours all week. Then having to take care of me and our daughter the entire weekend. He now understands what a single parent feels like and he has so much more respect for all the single moms and dads out there. He's been so busy doing his part and taking over my part that he's forgotten to feed himself since he's so worried to feed me and our daughter. I asked him what he wanted for lunch and he said he was craving McDonald so we went down and got him a meal and I'll be cooking him some spaghetti for dinner since he asked for it. I really do appreciate everything he's done this weekend and love him for it. Even with our daughter giving him such a hard time all of yesterday and last night because all she wanted was me. She woke him up very 30 mintues to an hour and made him get up at 8am. She usually wakes up twice in the middle of the night with me and wakes up at 9:30-10am. She also refused to nap for him so she was supper cranky he had to lay her on me yesterday while I was knocked out from all the drugs I was given. It was the only way she would take her nap. When I got up this morning and laid down with my little girl for her morning nap she sure was excited to have her mommy back. All day she's been staring at me smiling watching my every move to make sure I don't leave her. I sure did miss my little girl.
