I got married by a JOP at the courthouse, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I can't justify spending thousands of dollars on one day. We don't have any regrets at all.

BUT when our son is s little older and we are more financially stable I want a ceremony. But that doesn't mean the courthouse wedding can't be romantic. Find a sitter. Sign those papers and run off and go skinny dipping and drink cheap beer. High school shit. Funny and something you can look back on

We went to the courthouse. Then we left there and went to NYC lol

You can do a little ceremony at a local park that's a free location and wouldn't cost much 😊 then your parents could attend, take pictures, and what not.
