My birthing story. 🚨
Okay so i just want to put my experience out there for moms getting induced or going into labor naturally. My inducement wasnt for medical reason, it was just simply because i was over due. I was 40 weeks and 4 days when i got induced. It wasnt a major overdue but I was so we decided that that would be better for me. My pregnancy didnt have any complications, Just low bp in the beginning. I gained about 25 lbs all together. It overall was a good pregnancy. I had a baby girl. 😁👶🏼💕
Anyway The day started out normal. We were going to the hospital at 8pm. But instead we got there at 7:30 out of excitement. But we got to the hospital signed in, and waiting about 30 mins to get to the l&b room. The nurses hooked me to an IV like normal, took my vitals, and just over all made me comfortable. They waiting until about 9 to start me on Oxytocin ( pitocin ) to start my contractions. They checked my cervix and i was dilated 3 and they swept my membranes ( hurt way worse lol ) I wanted to try it natural without any pain medicine so no epidural no other forms of meds was giving at this time. My contractions we not that bad at the beginning so i tried to hold off. I dilated kinda slow, so after 5 hours i was only 4 centimeters dilated they broke my water. That was around 7am the next morning. Every hour or so i dilated one more each time they checked. Finally I caved in a got the epidural. Now i was terrified of this stupid thing, like i cried because i didnt want to get it. I had a resident from the department do it. He did miss my spine a couple times when he was feeding the catheter in my back but he was really nice about it. He was very calming and helped alot with the process. Then around 8-9 centimeters dilated From switching positions so much the catheter fell out😩 They recommended putting it back in but i told them ill deal with the pain. Lol yeah it hurt. then i was 9 dilated 100 effaced and + 1 for about 2 hours. There was A LOT of pressure ( and when i say pressure i dont mean like the baby head was out, it was pressure like you were constipated and had to take the biggest poop and it wasnt coming out. )I cried it hurt so bad ( and i dont mean to scare anyone but thats what my pain was) it felt like that forever, finally the anesthesiologist came in the room and gave me a lot of doses of medicine lol. It helped. About 7:20pm on Thursday i reached 10 centimeters finally and started pushing. And within 10 mins i had my baby girl on my chest. The pushing didnt hurt. It was just pressure but not as bad as before. Im kinda glad the epidural fell out so i could experience the pushing and feeling her come out. 💗 I cried when they places her on me. It was so un real everything felt like a dream. I was so tired 22 hours in labor was all worth the long wait of meeting my baby. Shes prefect and i cant ask for a better baby. 💕🎉
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
