I took a carseat safety course years ago and ever since then I know exactly what your talking about. That is one of my petpevs. A carseat saved my daughter's life 11yrs ago when I flipped my SUV but that's only because she was properly restrained.

with my son I was so anal about how the car seat was buckled in and my son put in it and whether or not the handle was up or down as it was supposed to be that I lost two babysitters that were ants of my son's dad do to standing up for it
