Today is my 3 year birthday from any mind altering substances. I am a recovering addict/alcoholic of 21 years. 3 years ago today I woke up in a hospital after overdosing and dying. I was brought back by having a needle injected into my heart and CPR being done. I saw Jesus/God and I saw myself slumped over in my car. I reached out to God and he shook his head "no" at me as if he told me I wasn't going to die like this. There's more for me to live for. I thank God for having mercy on my soul that night.
