It could be teething, that's not all that high. just give him some Tylenol but if it goes any higher then its something else.

@kbrown91, it was 100.4 yesterday  and this morning 101.7  he is jist getting off a virus  so I can't  think of nothing else it can  be

He shouldn't have a high fever, just a low grade. how high is his fever?
