My mum has massively fucked me of! There's no love lost between my mum and dad she's never been one to keep her opinions to herself were as my dad will happily keep what he thinks about her to himself and never to me so this morning she comes rounds ask where Albie is and I say my dad offered to have him for the night and she goes off on one!! Telling me I shouldn't of done that it's really stupid he won't look after him when infact at the moment after all her antics I trust him more than her! I told her to fuck off and that's she's a rude horrible person but what the hell has it got to do with her if he has him? Yes he was shit dad to me BUT if he's a brilliant grandad to my son than what the hell does it matter?

You are exactly right. My Gran was never very good with my mum when she was a baby but when I came along she was brilliant. Xx

@baby316, don't get me wrong my dad was a shit dad with me but brill with his son (my half brother) but Albie he is amazing but my mum can't see through the past I just can't believe how bitchy she can be xx

It is probably difficult for her if she was no help with you when you were little it's probably difficult for her to get that out of her head but she needs to see it from your point of view and not make things more difficult for you and it's good for Albie to have both his grandparents in his life you are right xx

Dont judge the dad he was to u to a grandad hes to albie. Sometimes some relationships make a person change an ppl do change. Maybe he wants to make up how he was with u to albie. Give him that chance. I wish u all the best. I know its hard to please everyone
