you really need to tell your doctor to reconsider doing c section regardless becausemy aunt gave birth naturally with herpes even though she didn't have an outbreak and her son had it in his eyes and all over his face a week later poor kid was suffering from the pain please tell him don't put your kid through that it's awful I pray for you and your baby

I just pisses me off every time I think about it like I want to hurt my son's dad Everytime I have a outbreak or I think about my son's health I really want a c-section like something in my body is just tell me that I need to have i really fear for my son and if my son get it im going to hurt my son's dad because this is not fear we didn't ask for this this is something that's been stressing me out my whole pregnancy

I was told in 2009 that I have herpes, I have never had an outbreak. With my Daughter I had her natural and never had no issues, with this pregnancy my midwife said she will start giving me meds at 36 weeks to make sure I don't have an outbreak, which honestly I don't really care to have since I have never had an outbreak and no meds was ever mentioned to me with my daughter. My midwife insist she has to treat me tho. I understand your fear, but if I were you I would talk to your doc and see if she will give you meds around 36 weeks to insure you don't have an outbreak.

I delivered my baby successfully naturally and I have herpes. no outbreak obviously at the time of birth. she is 19 months now and has never had any signs of it. I mean the risk of your baby getting it while you don't have an outbreak is slim to none..... ive honestly never heard of someone's baby end up having it when the mother didn't have an outbreak... well until the girl above me wrote that.

I was also given meds to take to prevent an outbreak once I hit third trimester.

@mrsrixx, they said there going to give me meds so that I don't have it during labor I already been taken meds cause I get outbreaks here and there

@mommytoprinceaiden092915, he didn't know he had it till I told him I had it he really could say nothing he just knew he messed up and that I was and still am really hurt by it

I think u should really talk to your doctor about having your baby through c-section . My aunt went through the same thing with her last child, the guy gave her herpes she doesn't have outbreaks but unfortunately for the baby when she had him it passed and he gets outbreaks bad. C-section would be what's best for u babe.

Right after he was born , and he's 4 now and he still gets break outs , while my aunt doesn't and she hasn't had an outbreak . Talk to your doctor love , better safe than sorry @mdomke22

Don't be sad babe, just talk to your doctor and let them know you'd be more comfortable with a C-Section just to ensure your baby's health. I'm so sorry you have to go through this 😕😔 @itty-bitty22
