Yep. I dropped 5 weeks before my due date and ended up having to be induced!

Technically "dropping" is called "engaged" and most babies don't engage until labor. I was at a -3 station with one when my water broke and -2 when my labor started with my other two boys. 0 is engaged/dropped.
