Calling dibs on baby names when they aren't even pregnant!?! What are your thoughts!?

My sister did it to me. My grandma passed away when I was in 5th grade and her name was Alice. When I found out I was having a girl I really wanted to use the name but she claimed that she had already called it.... Now my sister is not ins relationship, never has been, and has not even talked about kids but guess who had to listen to her? Me. And I'm still pissed haha we ended up naming her Charlotte which I love but I still wish we would have named her Alice.
