Any ladies that have a Ewan the sheep for their newborns? Is it safe to have in the cot/crib? I want…

I have a hippo one and I've kept it at the bottom of his crib X

I wanted one of these but my baby is 3 months now and sleeps well at night without anything. I think they have Velcro to strap to the bars of a cot. But yes she's right your not supposed to have things in the cot when they are sleeping. Suppose you could strap it to something nearby and out of reach

@holliesinead, yeah I kept saying to her, I would put Ewan in corner of cot away from her, but she wasn't convinced. Did you use it from birth in a crib too? I have the chicco next2me crib you see?

@sarah396, yeah I agreed with her about nothing in the cot but I thought these sheep were for newborns so thought there must be a way round it, makes sense if you Velcro it to the side xx thanks x

Yeah Hun I've got two bars in the end of the crib so I've put the hippos head in that now lol X

I use Ewan the sheep with my daughter, she sleeps with it now but she's 7 months. When she was smaller I would take it out of her cot once she has fallen asleep or put it at the other end of it x

I think it has a strap so you can wrap it around the cot bars so it's not in the cot X

I use Ewan in the next to me. He sits in the corner. It's also very round and would probably be quite difficult to balance on a wee ones face without rolling off (if you know what I mean) but as others have said it does have a Velcro tail @hawkie75 xx

@hawkie75, I've strapped Ewan to the side of the Next2me crib. On the corner so she can't roll onto it X
