Any plus size mommies have to go for a bmi consult in their third trimester? My doctor just gave me a referral for one

It's weird because I'm not high risk and she wants me to get it done when I go to get my third trimester ultrasound done next week. @lizyetter_1991 @kreese88 @sherrynygirl @mommy763

I am also on the bigger side and with both pregnancies I've been low risk with my first and thus far in my second and never had to see any sort of specialist or consultant

I was the same didn't gain any at all. But after I had my daughter I lost close to 40 pounds within a week.

I had to do the same as @lizyetter_1991 I had ultrasounds every few weeks but only because my youngest he had a marginal cord insertion. Where the cord grows at the top of placenta and not the side. I was on the larger side too, I also lost weight my last two pregnancies didn't gain any.

I never had to and I'm on the bigger side. But my ob Doctor did send me to a maternal fetal medicine doctor(high risk doctor) just to make things were ok.
