Does anyone let their babies watch cartoons? My mom says it's fine, but I've heard otherwise. Just wondering other mamas opinions on it.
I used to be so against her watching tv but it's one of those things where you gotta do what works for you so I let her watch a little bit the moment she starts throwing a fit when I turn it off is when we'll reevaluate the situation lol
@tiffany_sanft, my sns doctor ask me how much he watches tv and i tell the true he only actually sits down and watchs it maybe a hour or two a day and they have never said anything to me about it.
@mommyofallboys671, that's how my daughter is, too. I never thought there was anything wrong with it, but my daughter's pediatrician acts like tv is the worst thing on the planet 😒
@mrscruz0530, just about the same age as my daughter 😀 I'll have to check out Pim And Pimba! So far she only has patience for Dragon Tales and Sophia The First, hahah
@mamahoude, I hate new cartoons! They need to bring back the good old ones 😩
my son watches cartoons he is three now and he doesnt like watching tv all day they may be on but he is playing running around the house whatever else. he really only like the theme songs he loves music.
She's six months ! 🙂 sometimes I try old cartoons but she doesn't like them as much she does like dragon tales though! She also likes a show on Hulu called Pim and Pimba it's these two little penguins that play and talk baby talk lol
My 3 month old loves tv. He likes to play with his toys and watch chuggington. He doesn't sit there in front of it all day but he does like to watch them when he wakes up in the morning.
I think it's fine I mean I grew up on cartoons lol. But those days they were really well made. You know all the looney tunes characters the animation was actual drawings not computer generated crapola. I feel like kids shows are sooooo stupid now. :-(
That's what I do, too! How old is your lo, if you don't mind me asking? @mrscruz0530
That's what I let my daughter watch, she loves Dragon Tales, haha. @housfullofgrls
@mrscruz0530, hahah yes! I've learned to pick my battles with my daughter, haha. If the tv will keep her calm for ten minutes while I have some food, then so be it.
