doc apt today she said she doesnt start checking your cervix til your 39 weeks how can i convince her to do it today i feel so much pressure down there when his head moves i just want to know if im progressing :(

Just ask her. Tell her what you're feeling. She might do it if you insist on it

just tell her that you're the patient and she's the doctor and it would make you feel much more comfortable if she would at least check that's what you're paying her to do. its her job so she needs to do it. you can find a more friendly way of phrasing that but still that's her job and she needs to be doing it

my doctor won't do it either unless I ask. he says that if I'm going to go into labor, it doesn't matter if I'm at a 0 or at a 4, it will happen when baby is ready. you can be at a 0 and have baby in 6 hours or be stuck at a 4 for a month. it sucks!

Wow, mine is checking mine at 36 weeks 🙈 guess it just depends on the doc
